Default New dude

Hello all from Seattle. I'm a life long Ford guy as long as I can remember. My dad and grandfather always had Fords. To date I've owned and sold the following: 1)1973 Mercury Comet (loved this car), 2)1996 Ford Taurus SHO, 3)1997 Ford F150 4x4, 4)1994 Ford Ranger, 5)2000 Ford F-150, 6)2000 Ford Mustang GT, 7)2003 Ford Mustang GT convertible (still own this beauty)

I've always been a proud Ford guy and would dog anyone who drove a Chevy. I never had any problems with any of the Ford's I've owned.

My most recent purchase was about 2 weeks ago, a 2005 F-150 Supercrew Lariat 4x4. It's got every option and 47K miles. My wife usually drives the kids around to practice and school. I've noticed that it has started making the dreaded "Cam Phaser" tick. Ugh. Did I make a bad decision? I've read all these posts about engine problems. I'm a little worried. I hope it stays together until it's paid off.

Talk to you all soon!

Finally got a picture of the new truck. It had a leveling kit installed before I bought it. I put some new 33" Toyo M/T tires on the black wheels. I've never been a black wheel fan, but I think I'm now liking them.
