New from the Buckeye State
Hello. I just bought a used 2012 F-150 Lariat, 5.0L... my coworker called the color "pull me over red", so I'm going with it. Its a supercrew, 6.5' bed, 4x4 with (I think) every option from the factory. Black leather interior. Upgraded from my third Ford Ranger (see pics below).
I was actually looking for about 4 months for a King Ranch, and this was the only Lariat to make me grin, so I bought it. It has a 110k miles on it. Calm down, the truck looks brand new and was the best Carfax I've seen in the past 4 months of looking. Probably the best mileage versus condition I've seen thus far. The one KR I looked at had 49k on it and it was beat to ****, it looked like it had 200k. Anyway, it was my call and most people wouldn't bite, but for the price I was happy with it. I was also limited in what Lariats I could get, because I would probably destroy a tan interior... had to be black.
My only problems:
-The remote start is a bit "meh", it's such a hit or miss, even with a new battery. It's actually how I found this forum.
-The tow mirrors are aftermarket and they're not power folds... which means I have to do physical labor to push them in... sigh
-I'm averaging 15.5 MPG, is this right for the mileage?
