"New" 1988 F150
New member with a 1988 F150 Custom. I purchased a house this year and needed something to get some work done in (hauling, dump runs, fun in the snow). Searched craigslist for a few months and stumbled upon the truck I was looking for.
302, 5 speed, 4x4, manual windows/locks. Has American Racing wheels with 31x10.5x15 tires, 112,xxx miles, towing package. What is really crazy is that the VIN Tag with the Purchase date of 8/8/1988 was in the glove box (don't think the warranty is still good). I've done a little work on it already and have put a couple hundred miles on it already. I have lots of questions but will post them in the appropriate sections.
Interior is pretty much flawless. The body isn't too rusty and neither is the underneath. I don't have the snow plow and will probably remove the mount/wiring and sell.
These photos are from the day I drove it home. Some exterior items have already been changed.
