Default n00b introduction

Ok so I met a guy at the gas station the other and he said he wanted to buy my Mustang. I spit out a price and he asked me to follow him to the bank. Well wasnt expecting to be in the car/truck market so soon but after cruising a few car lots I found a Black 2004 FX4 SCab with 67K miles.

Now I havent had a toy truck in a long time and never one this new. I have about $3K left out of the Mustang money that I am planning on putting in the truck. Below is an idea of what I am going to do and I would love your input.

A little about me first. Im 36yo, married with two teenage boys (13 and 15). I live in Pinehurst, NC and spend most weekends camping/boating at one of the many state parks.

Now on to my idea list.

Wheels,Tires,Suspension
2.5" Hell Bent Steel leveling kit
35X12.50R17 Yokohama Geolandar M/T Plus
17X8 Ultra Drifter wheels

Exterior
Peragon bed cover
Black Bull Bar
20% Window Tint
Real Tree AP Snow FX4 bedside decals Real Tree AP Snow FX4 bedside decals

Blacked out head and tail lights

Stereo
Clarion VZ400 flip out headunit
MB Quart ONX4.80+500 Amp (5ch [4X80 + 375X1])
2-MB Quart ONX216 6.5" Componet sets
2- JL Audio 12WX-4 12" subwoofers

I am always open to suggestions or opinions so please share.

I like the double din units better than the flip outs. I have the Kenwood dnx7180 and I love it. I think the dn look a lot better and cleaner in the dash. The rest sounds good. I'm a kicker guy but you picked quality stuff.

I have thought about the double din and I have looked at a few. What I like about the flip up models are that they are tilt adjustable, and sit higher on the dash when open. Im a big guy 6'6" and being able to glance to the right and see the screen versus having to look to the right and down is a better fit. While looks are important function it my top priority.

When I had my SPL car I ran 4 15" Kicker black and golds with 4 PPI amps. That was many years ago though.
