Post New Here - 30" Lift Build, my First Ford F-150..!

Did a Solid Axle swap on this stock 2wd Ford F150 XL, not cheapest project but over a long span of time I got it done, still fun and one of the biggest in Phoenix AZ at least, really rare to see big trucks here in the desert. Been through too much trial and error this year but it's all getting panned out slowly.........!

Future Projects I'd like to find a Diesel Motor I can swap in here, I hear alot of good things about the 7.3l is it? Powerstroke, forgot the liter. But not sure price wise what I'd be looking at (doing it myself) just in parts. I like v8 but not the power I love for the tires. At least with the 4.6l.

Thanks! I'll put pics here and any questions or comments on lifts I can do my best to help. Went from a Chevy to a Ford, I do miss that gas guzzling 350 small block though! Been having smoking issues with this 4.6l engine, plus I'm not even going to hook up a T-Case to this tranny, don't feel confident.
We have a small group here with big trucks but all are apart of a huge overall off road group. I need to find semi used tires but none in Arizona..!

Here's a small group of photos with some of the other trucks too, Mine isn't the super fancy ones to pin point it out. But I did do a Chrome wrap recently you'll notice differences.

So far have started on a front bumper, I have always liked the skid plate look, (protects from trees and branches hitting your belts and radiator. I found a local scrap steel factory and bought 60lbs of steel for $30, no toooo bad. I'd like to add light bar mount on top and tow hooks and maybeeee down the line a winch ( you never know when you need one )

Just did this all today, so haven't done my sides yet. I know a guy who laser/water cuts metal into nice designs. so well see.

Next on list is getting rid of mud flaps and maybe going to lexon.
