Hi guys, name is 1shot. Local on mustangevolution.com I'm looking to purchase a truck and looking to see if this is a good deal by your standards. 2005 f150 Lariat crew cab 4wd has 90k miles. Dual exhaust, leather heated seats, sunroof, backup sensors, Line-X bedliner. Checked the car fax only one service record for replacement of the brake booster lines. Asking price is 19k is this a deal?

1 Shot, I almost bought a 2004 with several of the same features, but not all with 165,000 on the odometer, but in great shape and really strong and smooth running for $8,500 out the door. I finally found the truck I had been looking for, my '02 (I love the rounded body style) for just a little less right after I test drove the '04. It was a really tough decision but in the end I am extremely happy with my decision on the '02.

Reason why I'm asking if this is a good deal is because I saw a few other trucks the same year model with 100-110k miles on the odometer and they're going for the same price. I need a truck that will last me a good while, more like until this thing vanishes from the face of the earth while.

Have you looked at new? I bought a 12 XLT for 25 out the door. And 19 for 05 seems high to me, I don't have the FX but I sure love it.

welcome to the forum!

the price....well, put it this way, you can probably find cheaper, but I would not call it unreasonable by any means, and if it's in good condition and if I liked the truck alot, I'd pay that for it without a complaint.

hope that helps

Thanks for all the input, guys! 20k is kind of my cutuff because I will be trading in a car with a 5k payoff. Trade in value, I should at atleast get 3k for it. Just have no use for a car. That's what really stopping me from actually buying a new one.
