yeah thats what i been reading.. did you jack the motor at all ?

Yes I did, but it didn't really help with any thing. If you had good nuts on the manifold it would help you get to the ones behind the shock tower. I needed to pound a 12mm on and with the angle of the studs there was no way.
As for the y pipe connection it would allow me to get a hollow socket and ratchet on but left the handle jammed in the corner so that was useless as well. It also put stress on the y pipe making it harder to get the new one in. Your best bet would be to completely disconnect the y pipe but looking at the nuts I didn't even consider it lol. So I don't think jacking the motor served any purpose.

Cracked on both sides. Definitely time to be replaced.
