Do you think the motor will last that long? I would be a super happy camper if it did!
Is it really true that if you regularly maintain a vehicle properly it will never have problems? Other than the obvious wear and tear that happens in every vehicle...

That motor is awesome. Everyone in my family has had one of these. My uncle had an 87 with the 300 that was worked into the ground had 275k when he sold it with no major problems. He even claims he towed a 12k pound bobcat with it.. Anyways beauty of a truck enjoy it

thats true to a certain extent. some parts surrounding the motor will go bad as they have a shorter lifespan. ie.. starters, sylenoids, batteries, water pump, and others.

not too many things go wrong with that motor that are very costly though. keep fresh oil in it with a good oil and air filter and it'll pretty much take whatever
