Just got a new F150 and need some guidance!
Hello,
I just became a proud owner of the best American truck ever built. Now that is the easy part but what is not that easy and exiting at the same time is to have some guidance on what to do to enjoy the truck and where to find the good items that would make your truck even better.
Do you guys have some kind of "Must Have - Must Do" list that I could use to start getting closer to your level of expertise with this truck?
As I said, I am new to this truck and to Ford in general and everything that you say would be of great help. For example, just telling me where to buy items for this truck at a good price and quality.
Thank you and let's all F150!!!

Welcome to the board.
1. The tailgate is removable. See owners manual. Thieves love this. There are several solutions from hose clamps to locks. I never plan to remove mine so I have this:

2. You didn't say which truck model you have. You can add that info to your signature so others can see and you don't have to repeat it. See my signature.
3. My 2011 has a tailgate lock but it requires a key. So I added an electric lock just like the doors. Now I lock it with the FOB or using the buttons in the truck.
