Hi everyone! My name is Penny and I stumbled upon this group today and it has been an awesome experience! Yesterday my truck started acting crazy... RPM'S would shoot sky high without me even touching the gas pedal. Oil pressure dropping, losing power, etc. I originally thought it may be my transmission because it seemed to never change gears. So I pulled over at nearest store and had a friend pull me home. I made a contraption to test my computer.... It showed throttle position sensor... I went and purchased the part and then googled how to replace TPS on a 1993 Ford F-150. THIS FORD FORUM POPPED UP AND I SEARCHED TPS.... And someone stated how to RESET TPS. I DID IT AND IT WORKED PERFECTLY!!! THIS IS AMAZING TO ME!!! THANK GOD I FOUND YOU GUYS!!!!
