In order to have pictures show up in your post we will do things in two steps:
1. Upload Photos to the Album
2. After the picture is in the Album, we will copy it's url and then paste this in your post, so it will show up for everyone to see.
Place a picture in your album:
1. When you are logged in, go to your UserCP
2. Then on the left hand side click on Pictures & Albums
3. Then click Add Album.
4. Then give your Album a Name and Description and then click Submit.
5. On the next page click Choose Files and select the files from your computer's hard drive. Once you have selected the files you will click Upload Pictures:
Make sure they are below the file limit which is 200Kb.
If they are not, you will receive a security token error. You can resize your pics with any photo editor. I also use this site: www.resize.it
6. Once the pictures are uploaded you can click the Save Changes.
At this point your pictures are in your album!!
Add Picture to Your Post:
Now, to add a picture to your post, follow these instructions
1. In the photo album click on the picture, so the selected photo is the only one shown on your screen.
2. Then copy the "picture url" which is shown below the actual picture (to copy I highlight the text, right click and select copy).
3. Now go to the post your are making.
4. Click on the little icon that has a mountain and yellow background. Then paste the picutre url in the screen that pops up (I like to use Ctrl+V to paste the url) and click ok.
You should see a url with the [IMG] tag around it:
5. Now you can hit Submit Thread (or Post) and your image will show up in your post!!
Give this a shot and let me know if you have any problems.

After I copy my pic url and go to my post and hit the mountain icon and click ok, I get a red x in a little box, it does not post in the thread.....and no pic appears in my post. Please advise.

Same thing was happening to me. I just followed that link: www.resize.it to resize it, and bingo, it worked. Hope that works for yeh.
I cannot figure out how to get a profile pic to show up on the left side under my name when i leave a response to a thread, does anyone know how to do that?
