I googled F150 ecoboost reviews and like reading real world reviews over magazines so here I am.

I googled what manual 4wd hubs would look like on my black rims for my F-150 and your site popped up. Glad I found it.

Hey Everybody,
I'm new to the site. I've been a F-150 fan/owner for the past 18 years. On my 3rd one. Currently, I have a 2002 Ford Lariat, Crew Cab, 5.3 Tri Ton. I was told recently that Ford F-150's are known for having something very serious happen to the engines when they get near 175,000-200,000 miles. Whatever this big thing is, they said can cost up to $5,000 to fix! Now, I am getting near the 200,000 mile mark and I am getting nervous. Does anyone know what this may be?
Is this true or some folk lore myth?

Seriously. ....200k miles on it?!...that's a frickin long run....anything after that is cake! I mean if you don't overload/pull a lot of weight & and do regular maintenance you have done a Great job of making her last.> That's a lot of miles for any truck!

Other than plugs spitting the 2V 4.6/5.4L are great engines and 200K+ is very common. My brother had a 99 Lightning with 230K before he sold it and still ran perfect!

Was looking for reasons NOT to buy an F150 after having an enjoyable week long test drive (2014 XLT Super Crew) while on vacation in Miami this May. Instead found you guys and a great many more reasons TO by the F150. Now I'm a member and am enjoying my own 2014 Super Cab XL aka "The Beast".

I have noticed that SuperCrew shortens to "screw" so can I assume the same nomenclature for the SuperCab ie "scab"?

am in the process of pulling lower intake on 98 f150 because it blew a plug and melted the plastic plenum. am not sure if this is the same issue everyone is talking about but have not heard anything good about the plastic.
