Hi New from PA
Hi new guy from PA. Here is a pic of my 08 F150 XLT 4wd. All stock with the exception of JBA shorty headers (due to a broken exhaust manifold bolt on the passenger side). and a K&N air filter. So far only 42,000 miles on it.
Working on my next mod right now, just have to wait a week to start it. I purchased a Saleen side exit exhaust system. I knew it wouldn't work as designed being the Saleen was 2wd and the transfer case would get in the way of the crazy pipe that routes over the driver side frame rail to run all the way down to the side exit on the driver side. I already planned what to do , the system comes with a lot of pipe and bends. I am planning to run the right side out in front of the rear tire as designed and run the left side beside the right. The trick part will be the muffler has a single in and an outlet facing front and a single outlet facing rear. Worse case scenario I weld a block off plate to the forward outlet and run a single pipe. I still can't go wrong with the $105 this kit cost me. I do see why I got it on the cheap due to the design but I have the tools needed to make it work one way or another. Either way it goes it will be a little different than most.
