3" vs. 3.5"
AF1 You will want to 3" version of this one b/c the 3.5" one will cause your motor to run to lean when you do not have the chip in/on.

Magnaflow I would just got to a shop and get a custom exhaust made, it will save you some money. Remember with mufflers, the shorter the muffler the louder it is, and the longer the quieter it is.

OK - I went to the AF1 website and this is the kit they list for the 04 5.4:
AF1 PN#: 16418-0
Stainless Tube Dia: 3.5"
Ford: F-150: 5.4L V8 32v (2004 - 2007)
I don't see an option for a 3" model... I'm also not planning to get a programmer/chip at this time. I am looking to upgrade the exhaust and air induction system at this time. Thoughts... Thoughts...????

You do not want to run the 3.5" tube on your truck unless it's custom tuned that way.
