Well if you want to do bolt on's? First mod Advance timing,Look into some underdrive pulleys,Get a better CAI,Maybe some bassani headers and dual exhaust,lower gears would be cool..
Auto or manual tranny?
If you wana go inside.. A speed density frendly cam is a good Idea. Some nice heads ect....

its a five speed. the reason i have not put gears on i cause the 3.55s i had i got horrible gas mileage and no top end. i also have 295/50/15 tire which is a little short, so what i was thinking was putting on gen 2 lightning wheels with like a 295/40/15. and that would put me right back up there to stock tire heighth, that would help, cause the tire i have now almost 3 inches short than stock. thats a lot of top end lost. if i did that then i would prolly gear it up.

Cool, Look into a Lightning  You can get some good deals on them right now.... Slap on a Vortech SC and 11's here I COME!!!!!!!

yeah but the thing is everybody expects a lightning to be fast not a lariat. i have not been beat by another stock truck. but i havent raced a sports truck. but i did beat an ss s10, dodge dakota 318 5 speed 2wd, chipped up cummins, mazda mx6 gt turbo, almost beat an 85 chevy with an lt1. and lightnings arent mauals otherwise id prolly give up and get one.
