Hello Ford Folks!
Just thought I would give out a shout to you all on this forum. My Name is Damien and I am from Wyoming. I will fill out more info. later.
Any how, I am about to pull the triger on a 2012 f-150. I was gun ho on the EB.... untill I drove the 5.0. I still like them both, but in my testdrives, I would leave trip A to run errands and and not reset it on the highway to get an average. Then on the B trip I would reset once up to highway speeds trying to find optimal speeds.
The EB got 23.5 at 60 mph, 20-21 at 65 and 17 at 65. Mixed was 16.
The 5.0 seemed to maintane 23 at 65 mph and 19 mixed.
Now to be fair the two routes were not exactly the same. Just wondering what others have found to be true. In elevations 0f 6-7000 ft?
Thanks,
Damien
