Hello everyone
Hello everyone. I know a few people on here from mustangforums.com.
I just bought an 01 crew cab lariat w/ a 5.4.
I could have bought newer and nicer but with body style apealling to me as much as it does and the fact that I always had great luck with my mustang 2v, it just seemed smart to not buy a 3v.
The truck has a ton of miles and paint looks like Spidermans web but overall it's in great driving shape. (Except it's puking oil all over my driveway. Lol) I'll figure out the oil leak sometime soon. I figured it would end up being a "project" truck eventually so I didn't mind d the miles or the little things.
Eventually I'm going to do a lightning conversion or something similar. Who knows?
If feels good to be back in a Ford. My last project was a 600rw 96 GT Conv.

Even leaking oil, I still drove 1.5 hours away to buy a new gun. ....priorities people, Priorities. :0))
3.5 hours worth of driving and I'm down just over .5 quart. That's a lot but less than I thought it was going to be. 19.5mpg @ 70mph & 1900rpm
I'm happy, that's still better MPG than our 06 Grand Cherokee with the little V6.
