hello every1 , new member that need some help

Default hello every1 , new member that need some help

ford f150 4.6 gas 4wd ; 3 days ago i started working on my truck . changed the shocks got ranchos s5000 new rotors new drums , left the ignition on all day while working and running around for parts. after i was all done with the changes my batterry was dead, we jumped it it was running soon i was taking the cables off it was dying. pit a new bat in got home in the morning i return to the shop to exchange one of the shocks the bat was fine , the battery light was on on the dash , i pressure wash the engine , i think i was careful enough then i left . went hunting , return home 3/4 mile to my house my lights went out , in the drive way the car died . the brand new bat that i had in was dry , change it to day , tested the alternator everything was good, change the alternator, tighten the starter connection . i dunno what else can i do , i left it running now with a brand new bat and after 1 h of running it died. pls help

welcome. post something in you respective section of the forum and im sure someone with the same truck will have a suggestion, it almost sounds like and alternator problem to me

The Batt is used to start your truck only...not to keep it running...something wrong with your Alt...check all your connections and grounds..look at the connections to your starter also...
