Hello from California
Hello F150 Forum members!
Bought my first F150 last week. Google found this forum for me...so I have been reading some informative posts.
So far, I am very happy with my 2016 F150 XTL 2.7L EB 4x4. My wife is struggling to climbing up to the truck cabin though... I am waiting for Running boards to be installed hopefully this week.
This is my 3rd Ford Car. My very first car was 1967 Mustang and the second one was 1965 F100. 50years made a huge difference..LOL!!
It is just plain basic interior but very comfortable and smooth ride. I had a 2011 Silverado 2500HD LTZ but traded for MB E350 Bluetec due to parking issue in my condo in SoCal. But I regretted less than a week of driving Sedan...
Finally, I am "allowed" to have a pickup truck back. I chose F150 because of the looks and 2.7L V6 EB... and Ford had the most aggressive price incentives in the market. I have been driving Diesel cars but wanted to try Gas V6 Turbo this time. I might go back to Diesel after a while though... I hear a rumor about new Diesel engine coming out...
I will be travelling between Canada/ON-BC-AB and US/CA-FL. Expecting to put about 20-30k miles next one year. I do not wish to use 4x4 much but I am sure it will be handy when I drive through some snowy hills/mountains.
Have a nice day everyone!
Cheers!
