Post Hello - 4WD question

Hello, I've recently converted from Toyota to Ford, having purchased a 2015 F150 Supercrew XLT with 3.5 L ecoboost engine. So far I love it.

I do have one question, however. For the first time ever, I forgot to switch off 4WD (4High) after doing a bit of off-road driving in the deserts of Arizona. I drove about 2.5 miles with the 4WD engaged at about 35 mph on dry pavement. I turned a few corners at intersections.

Should I expect any damage to the drive components or transmission due to that bad 4WD usage? It seems to drive just fine but I'm just a little concerned about possible damage or excessive wear.

Any thoughts?

Thank you in advance for the help.

I have done it before coming out of a jobsite. As said, as long as you dont make an habit of it, you're fine!
