Got my first F150.
Got my first truck monday after some haggling. I think I got an ok price on my new to me 2006 F150 XLT with 97k on the clock.
Definitely needs some work to be really reliable IMO.
Large Immediate Concerns.
- Replace Lower Steering Shaft with OEM due to Binding. PB blaster temporarily fixed.
- Replace Transmission Cooler Lines due to corrosion.
Pending
- Spark Plugs since it is coming up on 100k and no idea if it has been done or not. So far plan is order Lisle tool and hope for the best when the time comes.
- Suspension and Alignment check and repair/replace as needed.
- Rust Remediation. Might as well start before its terminal.
Little things
- Install Aftermarket Radio w/BT
- Replace both Ford emblems due to wear.
- Replace cracked High Mount light.
Tips and suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
I will try to find my camera and take some pictures of the problem areas.
Thanks!

Thanks Everyone!
Took it in to be aligned today and they found the driver side bearing and lower ball joint are bad.
Of course the local parts store wanted $250 for just the hub/bearing assembly so I got a Mevotech assembly and the ball joint from rockauto for $136 shipped.
Ordered a new camera as well so I can get some new pictures of it.
