Default First Time Truck Owner

Hey all, new to the fourms and a first time truck owner. I bought a 2015 F-150 XLT 3.5 ecoboost SPORT 4X4 supercrew 5.5 bed with Goodyear Wrangler 275 65 R18 tires/wheels.

No navigation screen, no seat heaters but shifter down on the console which I like a lot. I've since had the front windshield tinted and the 2 front windows, added a Flex undercover hard tri fold tonneau cover and Weather tech floorliners and AVS window ventvisors. I'm really enjoying my truck and just broke the 1500 mile mark and mpg average hwy is 19.5.

I have a family of 4 (myself included), and it has plenty of room inside. I was really surprised at my 6' 4" frame sitting in the back not feeling cramped at all. Needless to say that will not be my main seat as that was just to get a feel of the room

I'm not much of a fourm guy but will want some advice on different wheels, tires and a little lift. If someone could direct me to the part of this forum where I could get help with this for my particular truck, I would appreciate it. I will attempt to post a few pics now.

Home in driveway.

At shop that added cover.

Side shot

This is close to what I would like for mine...the look of the tire type ( have my eyes on BFG AT TA KO2's but unsure of wheels...I know I want 20's) and not sure of height of truck. I do not want something 'extreme' and I will not be rock climbing or taking this off road to the extreme...I just really like the more 'beefed up' look opposed to just 'stock'.

Thanks for any and all advice/help. Glad to be here.

Dave

Looking at the height of the front and back, I measured from the ground to just touching the fender. Front was 37.5" and back was 40.5" If I added a 2.5 leveling kit on my truck, what size/s would I be looking at.... BFG AT KO2 LT285 65 R20's for tires look good/fit good....or could I go bigger? I have my eye on some wheels Ballistic off road 845 Morax...but get really turned around when it asks me for the offset. They are 20" D X 9" W. I don't need the tires sticking halfway out of the inside of the wheelwell, but a few inches would be ok.

Thanks

@Defcon1 what cover is that? I am in the process of buying one and like the way yours fits flush and sits. Nevermind I just can not read. How do you like the cover? Very nice truck!

Thanks kprice, So far I like it a lot. Haven't had any 'issues' but haven't had it long. I do like being able to either fold it and have the piston rods prop it up or loosen 2 wingnuts basically and take the whole thing off if needed.
