New To The Site And New To Pickup Trucks
Hello to everyone on the site. I just picked up a 1999 Ford F150 Lariat Flare side recently and decided to join the forum.
I bought this truck just to use it for towing and moving things around that were too big for my other vehicles. Didnt want to spend a lot as I dont need anymore vehicles but the deal on this truck I could not pass up.
About the truck.
-1999 F150 Lariat Flare side
-5.4L Triton V8
-Completely stock from factory
-Runs great absolutely no drive train problems
-It has some rust but after these many years I can expect it for sure.
-Leather seats are a bit rough with some cracks and wear
-210,000km
-Pretty much everything on the truck works 100%. Cruise control, 4x4, power seats and windows, audio system, alarm system, ABS, etc etc. The only thing that does not work which really isn't a big deal is the AC.
-Now for the kicker I paid $700.
I have always been a Ford guy and absolutely love this truck. First pickup truck and definitely wont be my last! As I said before its really just here to tow and carry stuff my other vehicles cant, in my opinion it does exactly what I want/need it to. This truck was of course in need of some TLC but I am very happy with my purchase and the way it has turned out!
I am having an issue with the parking brake but I will post up in the technical. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I have added some pictures as well.
