Hey folks, love the site, been lurking as a guest for a couple of months. This site has helped me to fix my Control Unit, install a K&N CAI and Flowmaster exhaust system by myself. I probably saved at least 600-700 in labor costs and for that I am grateful!
I am not a brand loyalist, though I have been mostly happy with my ford vehicles over the years. I bought a brand new Ranger XL in 2001 that I kept for about 5 years, and then bought my 2007 F150 FX4 2 months back.
Love the truck though it had that corroded control unit up over the rear axle which caused me to damn near get stranded in the middle of the night far from home, after that was fixed the truck's been running good.
Have installed the LMI rear seat lift to give me space to mount a sub enclosure under the rear seat.
Looking to do more, not a mechanic but want to do as much as I can myself (spark plugs, etc).
Thanks for everyones contributions to the site, I don't know how much I'll be able to contribute, but will give it my best.

Right now for the audio system I have an alpine 149bt hu, spr-68's in the 4 doors powered by a pdx-f4, and 2 mb quart rwm252's powered by a pdx-m6 in a ground shaker zf150 2 10 enclosure. The enclosure no longer fits right with the LMI seat lift which sucks due to the front bottom brackets extending inside.
