Checking in from Louisiana
I just made the switch from a 2008 Silverado to a 2016 Lariat last night (1.13.17) and I'm ecstatic!
I live in south Louisiana and work in the industrial construction industry.
A few years ago, I rode in a friend's Mercedes and experienced for the first time, a 360 degree camera feature. It was amazing to me how video images from cameras around the car could be joined together to create a birds eye view of the car on the main navigation screen.
I thought to myself "why don't they have this on trucks? it would be so much easier to park and maneuver." My decision, at that moment, was to purchase a new truck as soon as this technology package was introduced to the truck world.
Ford won the race. Now there's a truck with a 360 degree camera feature sitting in my driveway.

My plan for f150forum.com is to:
- Learn about my truck, so I can help others with theirs
- Gather information to create a thoughrough maintenence plan for my truck
- Determine what tire and level combination to eventually install
- Figure out how to work all the features on this damn thing
