Automatic to manual
My 99 f150 needs a new transmission. it had a 4spd automatic, but i was wondering if i could put a manual in instead. is that doable? also, would that cost more than just getting the automatic? im asking cause i have a manual transmission available to me, for a few hundred, and would really like to make that work.
What other parts/kits do i need to get to convert it if it is possible.
thanks for all replies.
PS. i am ok with cutting parts of the truck body if it is required.

im sure its doable if you are ready to do it...lol best bet would be check around and find a truck with a 5spd in it.. becouse you will need driveshafts.. trans...tranfew(if its 4wd)...clutch pedal assembly.. also if you do it be sure to add a pilot bushing to your engine
