I took a Banshee off of the local 4-Wheeler lot and must say that is the fastest **** I have ever been on.

I can't remember all of the engine mods but it was race ready.

I was trying to do a wheelie on it which was a bad mistake since I didn't know when the powerband would kick in and busted my as*. It was my own fault, I should had riden it around more then tried a wheelie.

It ended up being a very short ride on that thing since I broke a few things on the suspension. O well, it was fun while it lasted.

I would love to try out some of the new four wheelers with the fuel injection, but they are so damn expensive.

LOL, If you know how to ride you can get use to the power band in no time. I think u might be a little inexperienced? Mostly all two strokes with different pipes have a wide range of power bands adjusting to different bikes is a great skill to have.

To the raptor dude!
Yea I am still debating whether I would rather have the 700 because of the ride. They are so much smoother. And on a good track or trail against some one who knows how to ride the yfz would ripp you a new ***. Thats how it is stock. Maybe cause of all the sh** you did you could beet a stock yfz but with some good tuning some new jets and header and silencer it would be very hard to beet the yfz with a great rider. The rider makes all the difference. I have smoked yfz450 and raptors on trails and courses due to there inexperience. On the straight away its with out a doubt i would loose cause come on it dosnt take a genus to shift gears and press a button.

Hmmm then again i might get the 700.

I beg to differ. Don't underestimate the 700. Its only about 40lbs heavier and with some aftermarket suspension the Raptor would be no slouch on the track. I have SMOKED several souped up YFZ with more mods than mine while drag racing. So with a racier suspension and steering setup Im confident I could keep up with any equally modded (or even slightly more modded) YFZ on the track or trail. I have some YFZ front shocks on order right now to swap onto my Raptor and with those the ride height of the Raptor is just about the same as the YFZ. So same suspension, tad bit heavier but way more Horsepower. Why couldnt the Raptor keep up with a YFZ? It most definitely could. So "someone who knows how to ride" (assuming I dont know how to ride?) could smoke me with a piped and jetted YFZ? I'll take that race any day AND put money on it.

Im sure STOCK TO STOCK the YFZ would walk on a Raptor on the track, but for the HP I got with my mods I will stick to the Raptor and throw some better suspension on it.

Maybe I could beat a stock YFZ with all my mods... please. It would be an *** raping for the YFZ

That sucks man . I rode a 80 HP Banshee a couple of months ago and damn. Those two stroke powerbands are definitely hard to get used to. I love the Fuel injection I don't think I could ever go with anything else.

Well let me state the fact again that was the first two-stroke I have ridden, ever. I had only been on the bike for maybe five minutes cruising down a dirt road mashing the throttle to see what it could do before I tried a wheelie. Let's just say it a little different than the 400EX's I have. Experience? Not the most, but I definetely know how to ride, and If i didn't what owner would let me take a Banshee off their lot to take for the weekend at the age of 14.

Yea someone who can relate to what I'm talking about.

I've been to sand dunes several times and if you have ever been you know that Banshee's are THE quad to have out there because of the insane power they have. To bad they quit the production of them b/c I would love to be able to buy a new one a few years from now.

Ya the Banshees are definitely a force to be reckoned with at the dunes BUT you need to check out what these guys can do to a Raptor 700
www.teamrocketfactory.com

Raptor bored out to 841cc 0n Nitrous----120 hp!
Raptor bored out to 869cc---------------90 hp all motor!

these Raptor things are definitely up and comers in the big hp dune scene! These guys are local and actually who I bought all of my mods for my bike from.

I don't see how that could be fun. You couldn't even push the bike to its limits b/c you would flip it over by touching the gas.
