Default Hi from the desert

Greetings & salutations.
New here from the Az desert. Been a Ford guy all my life, but finally got the truck I REALLY wanted. I picked up a super clean, low mileage 2011 Raptor Supercab. Wish I could have scored a new one, but that was clearly beyond my budget.

Since the Raptor is essentially the same inside as a F150, Im hoping to get ideas here as well as the Ford Raptor forum on customizing it. Im really big into high end home & car audio and there are some unique hurdles to overcome with the Sync system that I have already learned about here. I wish the Sync system had some more customization capabilities, but I doubt if they will ever make a system to satisfy the audio guys like me. Oh well, thats half the fun!

Looking forward to seeing what y'all have done to your rides.

Welcome to the Forum

1) upgrade your shocks & coilovers
2) get a set of Deaver or National leaf packs and ditch the factory lift block
3) rear bumpstop kit

Those three things are the most significant improvements for the least $ - especially given you live in the desert.

Thanks for the welcomes, y'all. Got some bad news last week - some or all of my wife's department is in jeopardy of being outsourced to India. Of course they wont tell her until it happens, very nerve racking. So it looks like Im just going to be driving it for now. As much as I'd LOVE to look at some Kings & Deavers, gotta be prudent for now. I do have most of my audio equipment bought already, so that will be my first upgrade path.

Already in storage waiting for install;
2 RE SX10 subs
Zapco Ref 1200.1 amp
Zapco Ref 750.2 Amp
Tru T4.100 amp
Hybrid Legatia tweeters
2 Critical Mass 8" drivers
No processor or r. door speakers yet, thats the next purchase. These I can slide in as money allows and not stress the budget. Being an audio guy, the stock system sounds dismal and its almost an insult to call the Sony system an upgrade. Got to wait for the weather to break to start the install, just too damn hot in Phoenix til October.
