Default Another Canadian!

Hey, just picked up my own Ford F150 and gotta say it feels great and that I just need to write and tell someone to let out some excitement (wife doesn't count!). My first car when I was a student was a Tempo and it lasted me through my youth and various northern winters.

Bit of back-story; I got a hired on at a Brewery out of highschool and bought a brand new Power Wagon('06) loved it and dumped a bunch of $$ into it. Ended up trading it in for something smaller (2013 Ram Sport), wasn't feeling the love from the truck or from the dealership about my issues so I went to my local Ford dealership and wow they're awesome and worked hard for my business.

Was hard stuck on two trucks (5L & 3.5L) and believe I got a wicked good deal on my truck (chose the 3.5L XTR).

Thanks for reading so far!

Welcome to the site.
Did you buy locally? If so at Dearborn or kam ford on the north shore? I likely have the one and only ruby red long box in town. So if you see me feel free to come over and say hello. The big aluminum fuel tank/tool box bolted in the front part of the box is a for sure clue its me. Lol
If a blonde is driving it that the gf.....if a brunette is driving it she works for me. They are both super cool and approachable.

Hey thanks for the vibes, yea I actually shopped around quiet a bit Westsyde (I live just on the riverside trail, Northshore). From Kelowna, Vernon, New West-Van and both Ford dealerships in Kamloops. Ended up sticking locally with Ford Lincoln, they've done an amazing job with assisting me and getting me into my new truck. Haven't seen a longbox around just yet but it would definitely stick out! Cheers

Cool. I'm about 7 mins past Cooper foods. The river is my back yard property line....have just over 8 acres here. The choppers you see going in and out of that property are mine. I fly the 155 mostly, but the 66s occasionally as well. Jody at Dearborn took good care of me, and this is my 4th ford i bought from her. My gf works on the northshore to.

heh, that's a bit funny, was dealing with Jody when I went to Ford at Dearborn too. Unfortunately we couldn't make things work. Was close on a blue 2015 they have. Here's to hoping I can have a list of Fords as well
