Default 97 F150 having possible mass air flow problem

I just recently bought a 97 F150 because my 96 was having transmission problems. I didn't have time to wait for it to get fixed, so I bought another one from a friend of a friend. Now I'm having NEW problems, hooray! I've replaced the plugs, a bad plug wire and a coil pack. That got rid of a misfire code. I fixed the exhaust leak, which made it quiet enough to find a vacuum leak. I think that is good now. I cleaned and tested the MAF and read both grounds as good, and the hot. It showed voltage increases when I hit the throttle. I tested the o2 sensors and they seem ok, tho the rpm didn't jump much when I sprayed the ether. Any guesses? Am I missing something?
