2005 F150 XLT 5.4L Triton Engine
Morning everyone, I am an owner of a Ford F150 XLT as above stated in the title. I was told about a year ago that I was needing to change my oil pump out on my F150 XLT 5.4L engine. Now first off, I am a career network / phone technician and have little skills with mechanical installations on trucks or any engines. I do know the basics and some slightly more advanced fixes. However I am looking for some support on changing out my oil pump and what parts I would exactly need for this excursion effort on my part to save me some labor cost at the shop. I wanted to know if this project was worth the effort in doing it myself or should I fork out the hundreds of dollars to have it done at our local shop?
Anyone who can help can email me at mbaker1965@yahoo.com
Thanks in advance...

Ok.. I am assuming it's more complicated then a simple fix. Thanks guys.. I will see what it will cost me with parts and labor to get it installed at the shop. Just very low on funds at the moment, hopefully not too awful much money.
