I don't think it comes off the ignition module. They are both close to each other, taped together in the same harness. The single wire one only has one wire. Sometimes they are plugged into a piece of plastic that says diagnostic. They are under there somewhere. I guess finding them will be the hardest part. The rest is easy.

I think I found it. Has a cover on it that says EEC Test. There is a single wire (tan w/brown stripe) and 2 double wires along with 3 single.

Sounds like it. It is a six prong connector even if there aren't six wires going to it, right?

The big plug should have 2 on top and 4 across the bottom and then the single plug all by itself. It's oddly shaped with the 2 top centered with the 2 middle on the bottom. The one on the bottom left pushes out farther than the one on the right. Is this what it looks like. I know EEC Test is the right plugs but i haven't seen one with only 5 prongs.

Yes and no. It has 2 on top and 4 slots on the bottom, but, only 3 of the slots on the bottom have wires. No other wires hanging around in the vicinity. There is also the single connector.
Also, they are all sticking out about the same distance, one does not stick out further.

That's the one. You will need a stiff piece of wire like a paper clip. If you have disconnected the battery recently you will have to try to start it a couple of times first before the test because that wipes out the codes. With the 2 on top and the 4 on bottom you will need to connect the single wire to the top right of the 2. Have a pen and paper ready. Connect the wires, sit in the drivers seat and turn on the ignition. Do not start the truck. With the ignition on the check engine light should come on briefly and then turn off. You will hear relays clicking, and if the fan is electric it may come on briefly also. This is the computer doing some checks. Then the light will flash out the codes. Some use 2 digits and some use 3. Count the number of flashes and record them. There will be a series of flashes for each digit followed by a brief pause and then the next digit. Then there will be a longer pause to separate the next code. Code 22 would be 2 flashes then short pause then 2 flashes then longer pause then next code. I think all codes will flash twice then a 6 to 9 second pause and a single quick flash and then more codes will follow. Write all codes and get back to me. If you don't understand and need more info before you start let me know. You can read the codes several times to make sure you got them right if you need to. To restart test at any time turn key off, wait a few seconds and try again.

Single wire to right of top two. 3 flashes, 3 flashes, 1 flash, 3 flashes, 3 flashes. Stopped.

That was 3 flashes, short pause, 3 flashes, long pause, 1 quick flash, long pause. Without going into a long explanation the first codes are KOEO and the second are continuous. Try once more and give lots of time for all codes to display.Disconnect jumper wire with key off and try to start a few more times first. Then do the test again. The quick flash is the separator between KOEO and continuous. This threw me off the first time I ever read codes. You are saying this is code 33 which isn't helpful to your immediate problem. Try again and we'll talk more. Also, I have to share right now so give me about 15 minutes and i'll chase my girlfriend off the computer again.
