I agree with the turtle wax ice. Its easy to use and looks great when you put it on the black plastics. Doesn't turn white.

the turtle wax ice looks good on the plastic, and on white vehicles. but when you use it on dark vehicles it looks like crap.

I use BugSlide cleaner inbetween washes. All you do is spray it on and buff it out. It cleans and waxes and works. I originally bought it for my Harley so that I could keep her clean on trips; since it can be used on almost any surface i started using it on my truck especially the front end.

Your wax choice kind of depends on your waxing preferences:

Carnuba (natural) Waxes give a great deep shine, but don't last a long time. Figure reapplication quarterly.

Synthetic Sealants (polymer waxes) last a year. Klasse makes this a point with their product.

Best result seems to be clay bar>polish>sealant>carnuba wax, if you have the time and inclination.

Best bang for the buck (and time) is probably good ol Turtle Wax.

This might give the best results, but you need to know proper technique. The clay bar can be really damaging if used incorrectly. I do like the combo of everything else though.

Any of the Optimum products are effective.

Other ones that I like for durability and ease of use are:

Duragloss 105

Zaino AIO (All in One)

Menzerna Power Lock

Collonite 845

Collinite 476

Just used McGuire's NXT 2.0 followed up by High Tech Yellow Wax (Carnuba). These newer products are sure easy to use.

The Polymer Sealant made it look shiny, but the paint lacked that smooth deep appearance that the coat of Yellow Wax gave it.
