Default Sealant

I usually use Collinite 845 on my truck but wanted to try a sealant. The 845 does hold up well, but curiosity is a powerful thing. I ordered Sonax (223100) Polymer Net Shield

I washed my truck, hand wash, double bucket method, then went over it with my nanoskins. It's like clay barring the truck. Sonax went on very easy, and looks great. It does not have a "slick" feeling like the Collinite does, but it sheds water like a charm. We had a couple days of off and on afternoon thunder storms about 3-4 weeks after sealing the truck. I had the road film and usual surface dirt from the rain on my truck, so I stop by the car wash. All I had to do was just rinse the truck off, no soap needed. The water beaded and ran off the truck. After about 2-3 miles down the road the truck was dry. I have never used anything quite like this stuff. So far after about 5-6 weeks I am very impressed with it . My wife's 2015 fiesta is about to get sealed this week.

I didn't read the whole thread, so it might have already been mentioned. I love Menzerna Power lock. It is easy on/easy off and lasts. Nice depth of shine for a sealant. I've now moved to a coating for the roof, hood and tailgate and use Menzerna PL on the rest of the truck.

After the detail last spring, I have to get to it again as it's only had a couple of quick Clay and wax jobs.

Both.

Klasse cleaner/polish/sealant...

...follow with Pinnacle Souveran liquid carnuba.

Use both on the F-150 and my MB S550....spectacular results. Both are available at Auto Geek.

Default Wax or sealer best for gravel road?

We live on about 3 miles of gravel road. How can I keep my paint safe? I have the vinyl bra thingy but what about my chrome?

I apply chemical guys jetseal then top with P21s carnuba wax, works well for me
