Default Water spot removal - ugh

Trying to remove water spots from the 6 windows on my 2011 F-150.

Tried Maguiers water spot remover and terry cloth towel on one of the rear smaller side windows. After several minutes maybe little better. But still full of water spots.

Guess that's what happens when you wait to remove 4 years of water spots.

Next up, thinking about buying a Groits Garage 6-inch polisher.

Thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks

I've had good results with a clay bar. You may also want to try a "magic eraser" - those also work well on chrome plastic trim.

I is also possible the glass is slightly etched, if that is the case its a whole different ball game.

You may wish to try Rain‑X® X-treme Clean™. I've had excellent results with it.
It is a very mild abrasive. It works by hand and even better with DA machine.

Let us know your results.

Ok, so I've tried the above and also Meguiars water spot remover with dual action polisher. The front and side windows are great now.

But still lots of water spots left on the back window. I can feel the water spots like small scales when pushing my finger across the glass.

How about stepping up to Meguiars clear coat safe polishing compound?

Thanks

Bought a bottle of Maguiars polish compound for clear coat.

Spent several minutes on the back window with the polish compound and dual action polisher and dark red compound pads

It's better, but still has water spots.

Clay bar or this: http://www.mothers.com/02_products/0...ml#&slider1=12

Both work very well. I clean all glass with windex multi-surface with vinegar which can help as well.
