Want to look shiny. What car wax to buy?

Turtle Wax Ice, it's a spray on wax and works amazing! I've used a lot of different waxes over the years and this is the best. I used to spend a hour waxing my vechicles and this stuff takes about 15 minutes. It doesn't leave white residue in the cracks of the doors. Give it a try.

I use Adam's Polishes. Are they the best? That's your own personal opinion. Their products are pricey compared to Walmart shelf items. I like their stuff because it's very easy to use and everything they sell works perfectly together. Make sure and wash your vehicle with the two-bucket method w/grit guards. One for soap and one for rinse water. Clay bar your vehicle first, then apply a sealant/wax or just wax. Just remember, with most waxes, you'll need to re-apply them every 3 months or so, depending on how often you wash it. Make sure and use a wash soap that is wax friendly. DON'T use dishwashing detergent! That will strip all your wax back off. Happy detailing!

I'm looking for a car wax to use on my new eco. To help prevent all the bad nasty things that will try and make it look not so good (sap, water SPOTS)! I would prefer not to use a buffer and not spend 100$ on everything (engagement ring). So put your opinions in for what kind of "kit" i should buy to make my black beauty shine!!

I bought some colonite and am waiting for a warm day to apply it. I'll be doing it by hand as I don't own an orbital polisher.
