We have trucks and don't have all kinds of time to mess with wet and slingy type dressings that make more work or look like crap in a few days. Greg....GREG! WHY do you have to do this to me? This is the second product you've recommended that I'll have to buy.

Great video! I'm down the road from you at the base and almost busted out the buckets since it was 46 degrees yesterday.....almost.

^^^
LOL I only present my opinion and experience(s) I've had with them.

What is the first product you "think" you had to have?

I'm glad you found the video helpful. We'll have to meet up sometime. I have a buddy that paints some of the planes down there and a brother in law that writes code for the fighters.

Cheers,

I'm around....just got here this summer. It was the soap thread. I get a little heavy with the Gilmore and a hose so hearing a few other options was helpful....annnnnd gave me an excuse to build the arsenal.

Ok, I don't like this stuff after all. It's a pain to remove.

What stuff are you trying to remove? The Tuf Shine I speak of you don't remove. If you are talking about the Silicone heavy products YES they are a paint to remove from your tires and anything else they splatter onto.

I've never been a big fan of most TW products. I did like CD2 Engine but it's discontinued.

I agree. I really like the "look" of PERL but the longevity as a tire dressing is only a couple of weeks.

My fav was Dry Shine. It was a "coating" not a dressing.and it lasted 6 months+...also discontinued.

Recently, I've been using CQuartz Dlux Plastic & Rubber Coating with a Tire "Swipe" Applicator.

I like the look on tires and it appears to have very good longevity. Again...dry, no sling etc.

I picked up some TUF Shine Tire Clearcoat per Reflections Detail suggestion. I'll give it a try.

Interesting looking product. I always use a diluted meguiar's hyperdressing but it never lasts through a rain. Might actually get some of this.

Be aware it's a PITA to get off if you want to remove it and make sure the tire is all the way dry and no water runs out of crevices. Treat it just like paint.

TUF Shine Tire Clearcoat
So far so good. I applied it, it went on pretty easy and it has a pretty nice "look".

--------------
I've been using (and still like) Dlux as it appears to act like a "coating" for rubber.
