If the tips are chrome they will eventually go to hell on you, but if they are stainless, I recommend that you look into a mothers power ball mini. I use it on mine and I love it.

I have the same problem with my tips too. Even on my last system, being stainless doesn't mean that it doesn't require work to keep them looking good, as I had hoped. I just left my last exhaust tarnish, but these need to be cleaned, so I guess mothers or some mild rubbing compound may be what I'll have to get too. It probably wouldn't hurt to give them a couple coats of wax after cleaning to keep some of the junk from accumulating again too.

If you have a weekly cleaning regiment, polish the tips weekly with Meguiars Mag and Aluminum Polish. This polish will work wonders. It is also easy to use. Adams Metal Polish is also a great product. Use the polish via the directions on the tub, and use a 100% Cotton Terry Towel. I also put two coats of Poorboys World Wheel Sealant on them. It adds a layer of protection.

If they are not mirror polished already, and you would like them that way, send me a PM, I would be happy to guide you along the process.
