Polishing 22" Limited Wheels

BTW - A quick test is to use a little metal polish in a very inconspicuous area.

If it turns black then they are not clear coated.

exactly what I did on my wheels that's why my 2014 22" Limited wheels were not clear coated.

Going to continue following this thread to have in my subscriptions. I don't have the newer limited wheels but I have the 22s from an 06 on my 04 right now

butts,
they look "bad ***" on your rig!

You have a spare 22" Limited wheel in the bed too

I get lots of compliments on the wheels and truck as I bet you do too

No. The wheels/tires in the bed are the FX2 wheels/tires. The first two pictures were taken right after I left the tire shop.

Andrade, I used an aerosol can of stripper from Walmart. I believe the can is gold or orange. It will take several cans, but go for it. When you rinse the stripper off, be careful not to let it splash you, it will burn! Ask me how I know!

Thanks! Must be similar to gel based home paint remover I used in the past, that stuff burned!
