I can't wait to clay bar my old '01 now and try this stuff. It has a nice metal flake green, I bet it'll have some depth to it if I ever get a chance to do it.

^^ you could go all the way and use a DA and a compound and REALLY show off that nice color!

On another note, after 87 pages of boasting about how good this wax is, I think I will finally get some of it to try

I have been using it since I first saw it here.
Does an excellent job on paint, plastic, rubber.

Default I've gotten at least 10 friends hooked.

I've gotten at least 10 friends hooked on 845, they love it too! Remember, it acts more like a paint sealer than a wax. I've put it on alone, and it works great like a wax does. HOWEVER, to really kick it up a notch in shine and wear, use a good wax on top of it letting the 845 set for a few hours, first. I've gotten some great waxes (and other car care stuff) from this place: newsletter@detailedimage.com . Check out their 'How To' section, which reveals many secrets of car detailing.
Thanks again, Sterlingone!!

I am glad that we've not seen the price go up due to supply and demand! I don't know about the extra step of waxing on top of it for my white truck....I do know that 4 months after a good application of 845, the water is still beading like the day I applied it.

Default Returning Ford owner- New F150 Owner

I've used Royal Blue on my vehicles for a few years and have been happy with the results....however, a friend recently told me about Collinite 845 and all the reviews says it's awesome....so I am going to try it on my brand new (manufactured Sept 28, 2013 - bought 27 Nov 2013) white F150 SuperCrew.

If anyone on the F150 forum has compared the two products, I appreciate any feedback...Thanks

If it's colder than 60°F it goes on on & comes off with a little more effort.
I'm going to try another (Jax Wax) on top of the 845.
