U should use a supplemental wax in b/w. help provide more durability for ur collinite. I use griots spray wax. Just wash truck, while its wet, use spray wax to dry. Helps with water spots too. I did buy the spray wax at advance auto.

I just ordered mine. I've never used any kind of cleaner on any of my trucks. I'll bet I have 10 different waxes half gone. I've never completely used up a bottle of wax because there is always something new and better hitting the market and I try them all.

How many times a year should you wax a truck on average? And do you need to use a special product to remove all old wax before you do it the next time or is washing with dish detergent enough to remove most of it? Thanks

There are those who recommend a washing with dish detergent.......I am not one of them. Either a good clay barring or going over the surface with my Porter Cable buffer with detail spray on it (or believe it or not, Turtle Wax Bug and Tar remover!!!!) will make the surface smooth enough to lay on another layer of the newest wax..........what you DO need to be careful of is that you are not waxing in old swirl marks that are in the old wax. That is the way that most people end up with swirls and scratches......not in the new wax, but sealing in those that were in the old one.......As far as the number of times a year to wax....depends on a lot of things....parked outside and driven 30K a year? probably 4 times a year........parked inside and driven only on the weekends?........once, maybe twice a year..........YMMV......

Wish I was getting a commission!

My satisfaction is in every post where the new user says....."wow! Great stuff!"
I know how much less my hands and shoulders hurt because of how easy I it is to use too.
