Just got back from a 5,400 mile trip towing our TT all over the western U.S. We ran into some real weather just about every other day, including hail and thunderstorms which turned some of the campgrounds to muddy messes.
I figured our truck deserved a fresh coat of 845 after all that, so got to it today:

Bad weather, several washes... nothing seems to kill this shine or protection.

Learned something today, you know time consuming it is to throughly get the 845 to be completely mixed? Well when it's a 105 outside and a 100 degrees in your garage the collintite is ready to go. Just a couple of shakes and start applying it.

This is what happens when it sits in the truck out in the heat...

I have another question here, so far I've waxed the truck with this stuff twice and I've used maybe 1/4" of product. Am I using too little or does this sound about right?

You're using more than necessary. Just makes for more work rubbing in and wiping off.
I use less than 1/2" of product for each complete polish job.
Heat it in the sun or in bowl of hot water. Shake it well and go to work. Very thin is best.
Any more is just a waste.
Edit:
Oops! I misread and thought you meant 1/4 of the product.
1/4" would may be enough if you are getting complete paint coverage.

One quarter of the bottle or decrease in leva, of content by quarter of an inch?

Quarter of bottle waaaayy to much. 1/4 " level down about right.

Yes, 1/4". That was for two applications. The first time I used it, it looked like the level in the bottle hadn't even changed. I guess the coverage is good, but I almost always finish my washes with a quick coat of Meguiars ultimate quik wax. The truck practically washes itself now and is almost completely dry after I rinse it.

The truck is due for a full clay/polish/seal, but not till it cools off some. Might go with the Blackfire crystal coat then too.

Collinite 845 is the best, and as everyone has said less is more with this product.

I would suggest looking up the "kiss" method for using 845. I found the description on Autogeek and its was spot on and super simple . I put on two coats and used at least half of what you did. Hope this helps .
