My 2012 Platinum White looked good, my new 2014 Pale Adobe looks really great...........but those darker Red (Ruby?) trucks look flippin' AMAZING after a coat of 845........
You will really like how it protects the chrome wheels. Brake dust and road grime wash right off.

Well, speaking of dark colors looking pretty nice after an application of 845, here is my wife's Venza in Cosmic Grey Mica (I know, looks black, and not grey--- dark blue, maybe, but I didn't name it):

I must say I've had a bottle of this stuff brand new for alittle while now and finally had a half day off or work last Friday. It was a nice 65 degree and mostly sunny day and I spent a few hours cleaning the truck up completely inside and out. I was able to put the bottle of 845 in a hot water bath for a few minutes to thin it out and went about applying thin coats as everyone has recommended. It came off very easily and left a great shine. It has unfortunately rained a few times this week, but I can say the water beading on the hood is the only upside to all of that rain. Very pleased with the product and my dad is already asking to borrow the bottle to get a coat on his black 2012 Ram 1500 Outdoorsman prior to winter time.

That beading isn't going away anytime soon. It's been 4 weeks or more since we put a coat on my dad's C6. All he has ever done is rinse it off, and use the leaf blower. Beads every time, and the dirt can't stick on!

Finally got around to buying this. New experience for me included claying for the first time. Watched the videos at Autogeek.net to see how, did everything by hand.

Truck took about 6 hours to wash, dry, clay, wash, dry, wax, buff, wax wheels. Today I am doing my Fusion, did the wash, dry, clay, wash, dry yesterday but it was too cool to wax (low 50s). Today is supposed to be upper 50s and sunny, so I can put it out in the sun to warm up the metal.

My initial impression is that it looks nice, haven't had a chance to examine it in the sun yet. I've always used Nu Finish, and found it did a good job of cleaning up stuff like water spots, etc. It did not appear that Collinite 845 cleaned anything, but water spots seemed to clean up ok with the detailing spray. Went on easy, came off VERY easy.

As far as claying, I bought a Mother's kit with two bars, spray, and towel. Couldn't find just clay for any reasonable price, got the Mother's kit for $14. I used nearly all the spray on the truck and the car, will do soapy water in the future. Would be nice to find clay available stand-alone that is reasonable (and with shipping that goes along with a small bar of clay).

I, of course, have every confidence that it will......but would still love to hear about your experience with it. Remember to keep it warm, shake it often, and use VERY little.....
