I have successfully wasted probably half my bottle of Collinite by kicking it over. I guess that's the bad side to this stuff, the water like consistency.

So, here's my solution. $2 at the grocery store.

Picked up a couple bottles, can't wait to try it. Last person used a little of one, but $20 for the pair? Hard to turn down.

From a person on Craigslist who didn't know what they were worth!

I had to have them shipped also, but for the $20, they payed for it. It was about $6 according to the label, so I only payed about $14 for both, plus shipping.

the squeeze bottle is a great idea. I just waxed my truck and expedition yesterday and had the same issue. Well...I have it every time I use it. It inevitably tips over when I sit in on a bumper or I kick it when on the ground.

I know most people let the wax sit for 15-45 minutes after application. I had never done that before and waited just a few minutes. This time I let it set up a while longer and I will say it comes off a ton easier. I didn't really notice a difference in the shine but maybe it will last longer.

I do think that it bonds much better when you let it dry completely. And it is sooooooo much easier to wipe off!

I've always used Nu Finish liquid to wax my cars. Never used a clay bar, and the last few years I've not liked the end result.

I plan on clay barring and using Collinite 845.

I replaced a many year old buffer that had basically fallen apart with a DA Polisher from Harbor Freight, but still haven't opened it. I'm reaching the end of my return period.

Question - Everything I read is that most if not all apply 845 with a foam pad, and then use Microfiber towels to polish. Hence no need for a DA polisher and I should return it. I will never be buffing out swirls or anything, way above my pay grade. Return it?

I love doing a finishing polish with the correct soft pad when I am done. It just seems to make the 845 pop and more clear.

03F15012:

Light colors like ours are so difficult to create a great and deep shine.
Yours looks terrific! Nice job.......two..........
