Default How Should I Clean "Satin" Surfaces?

Hey all, I got my 09 150 Platinum a few months back, I've washed it several times since then but it seems that the 'satin' grill and tailgate section are hard to keep clean. I'm having trouble with water spots I guess. Any suggestions as to maybe something to put on after washing/drying to remove spots/deflect dirt? I didn't know whether I should use something like a wheel cleaner similar to what I use on the wheels or if there is something better?

Thanks

do you use a chamois to dry the truck off while its still wet? I always use one and it never leaves water spots on any of the exterior surfaces. I've tried various types of drying clothes but nothing works like a good ole fashion chamois. They are more expensive than other products but are durable and worth the $$. Ive had mine for 3 years now. My two trucks show water spots bad too. Ones Black the others Forest Green.

Try using Meguiars Ultimate Quick Detailer after washing. Mothers showroom shine is a no-no.

This will work. It is available at Wal-Mart for the lowest price, around $9-$10 a bottle.

Ok I'll give it a shot. I saw a platinum just like mine last night and the satin looked more like the shiny steel, dunno how he got it like that.
