Aslo, whats everyone doing for the faded plastic peices inbetween the hood and front windshield? Ive been using Driven, which works great for a week or two but dies off.
i need to get some of this -ish on my front valence bumper, grill, bed rim liner, and in between the hood and windsheild, as well as the trim around the rear window, what is the best stuff for that? i have a friend who swears by back to black. i just need something that works, lasts, and wont damage paint, and that can get into tricky areas like the grille and the vents in front of the windsheild

The truck will be in the driveway 2 morrow...first Ford F-150 for me. All I can say is that with all the paint problems I've had with GM (chevy) that I'll never buy another GM product...the way the company stand, perhaps nobody will ever have to.

If you are wondering how Mother's Back to Black works, checkout these pictures.

Best product I have used for the all the plastic is Ice Liquid Wax, it lasts longer than Back to Black. My Son applied it to his truck, and when his Mom looked at his truck, she yelled at him for buying all new plastic trim on his truck.(lol)

Default Trim Dye

Has anyone tried the trim reconditioning dye from griots garage? Link below.
Hoping to get some feedback before trying it. I am very happy with their paint clay, speed shine, etc.

This past weekend I picked up some Mother's back to black. I had been using a variant of Armor All and it worked pretty good but washed away after a few washings or rains. I'm waiting to see how this stuff holds up to the water. I was impressed how it made the rubber trim around the windows look though. It removed the faded spots and made the rubber look uniform again...very nice. After applying it to everything and letting it dry and wiping it off the glass and paint, I noticed that the surface seems dry to the touch and not greasy at all. Hoping this last a while because I wash my truck once or twice a month.

First impressions say go buy ya some!!

This looks like it's only for black plastic. Would you use it on grey plastic trim?
I am thinking about buying EXTREME V.R.P. DRESSING 2 LONG LASTING Super Shine 100% Dry to Touch Vinyl, Rubber -Tire & Plastic Restorer+Protectant
from www.chemicalguys.com they seem to sell some pretty good stuff

Just ordered the Griots. Will try that because I know back to black doesn't last.

Got the Griots. SMALL bottle! Didn't pay attention to how much I was getting. Hope it's enough.
