Does UV protection really do anything?
I just ordered a new BakFlip tonneau hard cover, and of course, would like it to last as long as possible. The hinges and seals are rubber, and people talk about apply a UV protector on them. Does this make a difference? Does the UV protectant just make the rubber look new, but do nothing to slow down deterioration?
Anyone have long term use experience with these products?

Tim,
I'm with you on wanting it to last. I've only had mine for a year but as I understand, the hinges and the like are EDPM rubber. 303 Aerospace protectant is what I use for that and I like my results thus far.
