There are a few good products out there. For light scratches and water spots, I would recommend Meguiars ScratchX 2.0

The key to this product working is using a proper technique. You can find videos around the internet on how to use it properly.

Use Meguiarsonline.com , Mike explains how to use it very well.

Good luck. Be sure to post before and after pics.

Absolutely not. There is no added benefit for your vehicle by using those types of products. Even if there is real wax/sealant in the product, these waxes can not properly bond, (or bond at all) to the surface by washing the vehicle. None the less, it is a good marketing scheme for those companies those. Stick with Gold Class. It is the best OTC product out there.

If you are wanting to use a good class that wont instill light marring into the paint and a efficient process, use Meguiars Blue Clay bar along with whatever type of lube you want. I would recommend using Meguiars Quick Detailer, NOT Ultimate Quick Detailer.

You can get the clay bar at,

Im not sure if I quite understand your question.

Are you trying to say you have a rust colored truck?

Or do you have metal that is rusty?

my 97 black f150 has swirl marks from buffing on it. Whats the best product to get them out. I would have to do it outside seeing as I have no garage.

Wax will not do this. Wax is a protection product. It will provide protection to whatever surface you use it on. Now, you have to use the proper wax/sealant for the surface you are applying it to.

Does it look kind of like this? This picture is a 50/50 shot of a Cadillac CTS that was horribly covered in "holograms" from a detailer that had no clue what they were doing. The right side is already polished up, the left side still has those dreaded holograms.

If you want this problem corrected, you are going to be looking at spending around $300 minimum to have the proper supplies, (machine, polishes, pads, towels etc) to fix this problem. However, I can find a detailer in your area that will properly remove these imperfections and leave a brilliant finish. No OTC products will fix this.
