Optimum No Rinse.

It can be used as a quick detailer or clay lube depending on how it's mixed as well.

The one thing I haven't seen mentioned here is your water. Hard water is very tuff to get suds from. I have lived in city's where the water was hard and it was almost impossible to get suds even in the washing machine in the house. I've seen some car wash nozzles that you add a softening tablet in a compartment so the water will suds. Just my .02 worth.

For our vehicles, I use Pinnacle Bodywork Shampoo. My washing method is as follows:

Clean the wheels with a dedicated chrome cleaner.

Clean the wheel wells with Meguiars APC 1:6.

RainX all glass.

Spray down the vehicle with 'Super Snow Foam', using the Gilmour Foam Master. I will agitate it with a genuine Sheepskin Wash Mitt. The foam allows maximum lubrication between the mitt and paint, minimizing the risk of inducing swirls into the paint.

Rinse the vehicle.

Use a leaf blower to remove most of the rinse water. Use a large waffle-weave drying towel to remove the remaining water.

Polish wheels and exhaust tip(s) or exterior chrome.

Clean windows with Meguiars Glass Cleaner Concentrate from the Detailer Line. (I use no consumer line products.)

Dress the wheel wells, moldings and all other exterior plastics/rubbers.

Enjoy a beautiful vehicle!

I did the F150 today, enjoy the pics! I put on two coats of Poorboys Natty Blue Wax, check out the reflection from OEM Ford paint, its amazing!

Pantene Pro-V shampoo. Does a spectacular job. Puts nutrients back into the paint that the sun and whatnot strips off the paint.

I will try this but on my wife's Mazda since it is newer than my ole '92 Stealth. If this works and looks good... Well I dont know but I will thank you. If not...

To the OP... Normally I use the (I can't remember the brand) but the small blue bottle that has the green and gold rain-X beads in it. Usually works pretty well. I love it. Also Zipwax actually is not a bad choice IMO either.
