I use Maguires for everything.

Make sure to use the two buckets method, that will help a lot. ( not sure if you are or not )

Fill one bucket with water and soap, fill another bucket with just water.

Soap up the sponge or whatever you are using, use it on truck, then rinse the sponge out in the plain water bucket, squeeze it out ( thereby eliminating majority of dirt you just got off truck ) and then resoap and suds from bucket one....

If constantly dipping a dirty sponge into the soapy water, it will deteroriate it and water gets dirty and then washing with dirty water.

Sad part is, I've been washing cars for years and didn't think of this until about 3 years ago. lol

I never use their proscribed measurements. I just dump a good bit in the bucket. Works for me....

Also, to get suds, you have to have a decent water pressure for it to suds up....Assuming you are using a nozzle that is.....

I've been using Wash & Wax from Blue Coral for over 10 years on ALL my cars and it works great...not to mention it's cheap!

I do agree with the two bucket method, although I usually don't have to do it. My truck gets washed once a week and sometimes twice a week. There's never that much dirt on it to contaminate the wash bucket.

I use Mequair's Hot Wheels to clean my wheels, stuff works great and really helps shine polished aluminum wheels.
